Custom Medusa.js ecommerce development
Medusa.js gives us a flexible starting point for stores with unusual products, repeat-order plans, special pricing, or business processes that do not fit neatly into a ready-made platform.
Production Medusa.js project
A custom-designed Medusa.js ecommerce platform for a premium wellness brand. The project connects an original storefront to subscriptions, Indian payment gateways, and shipping workflows tailored to the business.

Medusa.js is a modular commerce platform and framework for building custom commerce features. It provides core capabilities such as products, carts, orders, inventory, pricing, payments, and fulfilment while allowing developers to extend data models, workflows, APIs, admin tools, and integrations.
It can be, but it solves a different problem. Shopify is usually the better fit when a business values a hosted platform and faster operational setup. Medusa.js is compelling when custom workflows, ownership, integrations, or differentiated commerce logic are central to the business. We evaluate total operational responsibility as well as feature flexibility.
Yes. Subscription commerce can be modelled around plans, billing state, order generation, customer actions, payment events, shipping cycles, retries, cancellations, and operational reporting. For Puritas, we developed a custom subscription module alongside Razorpay, PhonePe, and shipping modules.
Yes. We build Medusa payment and fulfilment modules around the provider APIs, webhook events, security model, refund flow, serviceability, rates, tracking, and exception states required by the project. Puritas includes custom Razorpay, PhonePe, and shipping implementations.
A Medusa implementation is a custom application, so the merchant or its technology partner is responsible for hosting, monitoring, security updates, backups, integrations, and continued engineering. We define this operating model before recommending Medusa.
